Louissa Rogers

Louissa Rogers has built a career as an environmental scientist, with a focus on natural resource management, for over two decades. Her experience working closely with communities and Traditional Owners has informed her understanding of place and enabled the integration of local values, knowledge, and experience into her projects. She brings this collaborative approach to her role as Project Manager for Richmond Landcare Inc.'s "Nature-based Solutions: Building Flood Resilience in the Lismore Catchment" project. Louissa is committed to implementing solutions that are both environmentally effective and rooted in the local context. Working with RLI provides her with access to decades of knowledge from Land-carers who have worked in the region for many years, ensuring the project's success at the grass-roots level. Which makes her very happy.
