Sean Phillipson
Sean Phillipson is the General Manager - Strategic Programs at the East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority (EGCMA) based in Bairnsdale. He has worked across Gippsland for over 20 years at the EGCMA, Parks Victoria, and as an environmental consultant. Sean has qualifications in environmental science and river health management, and work experience across waterway health improvement, coastal, estuarine, and wetland management, and strategic planning.
In his current role, Sean is the technical lead for the EGCMA, coordinating a team responsible for the delivery of more complex waterway projects across the region including strategy development, technical investigations, Ramsar site management, environmental water planning and monitoring, and estuary management.
