Lukman A Soboyejo
Lukman is a dedicated environmental scientist specialising in fluvial geomorphology and earth surface processes, with expertise in geospatial information systems and spatial data modelling. During his PhD, he investigated the spatial and temporal patterns of stream channel change in urbanised catchments and developed a predictive geomorphic model to explain and anticipate stream channel responses to urbanisation. He currently works in Hydrobiology's Land and Water Management Group, now part of SLR Consulting, where he provides geomorphic baseline and impact assessments, basis-of-design for mining diversions, stream channel management and rehabilitation advice, and sediment transport modelling for catchment and waterway prioritisation.
