Matthew Bloor
Matt has worked as Tweed Shire Councils Waterways Project Officer since 2012. He works closely with land holders and the community to deliver projects to protect and improve waterway health and water quality through the River Health Grants program. Matt assists landowners to implement riparian fencing, stock-exclusion infrastructure, weed control and revegetation throughout the Tweed, with a focus on the shires drinking water catchment. Matt works with several community groups and volunteers with Uki RiverCare to restore flood damaged land on the mid-Tweed River. In his spare time, Matt enjoys paddling his kayak and exploring wild places.
