Bryan Mole

Bryan Mole is a botanist in the Applied Aquatic Ecology Section of the Arthur Rylah Institute for Environmental Research. Bryan has over 25 years of botanical fieldwork experience across a broad range of ecosystems throughout south eastern Australia. Bryan has undertaken postgraduate studies in plant taxonomy and systematic botany, and has published his research on the genus Phebalium and its allies. Bryan’s current area of research includes riparian and wetland ecosystems with a particular emphasis on instream vegetation management and monitoring. Bryan is currently the ARI lead on an instream vegetation establishment trial, aimed at improving habitat for the endangered Macquarie Perch.
